At IntelliConnect EnergyTech, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your personal information when you use our budget planning services. We're based in Thailand and follow local data protection laws, but we've written everything in plain language so you actually understand what's happening with your data.

How We Use Your Information

We're not in the business of selling your data. Everything we collect serves a specific purpose related to making our service work better for you.

  • Providing and maintaining your budget planning tools
  • Processing transactions and sending you confirmations
  • Sending service updates and important account notifications
  • Improving our platform based on how people actually use it
  • Protecting against fraud and unauthorized access
  • Responding to your support requests and questions
  • Complying with legal requirements in Thailand

Important: We will never use your financial data for marketing purposes or share it with third parties for their promotional activities. Your budget information stays private.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We keep your information within our organization whenever possible. But there are a few situations where we need to share data with others:

Service Providers

We work with companies that help us run the platform – cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery. These providers only access what they need to do their job, and they're contractually required to protect your information.

Legal Requirements

Sometimes Thai law requires us to disclose information to government authorities. We'll only do this when legally obligated, and we'll notify you unless prohibited by law.

Business Transfers

If our company is acquired or merges with another organization, your data would transfer as part of that transaction. You'd be notified if this happens.

Your Privacy Rights

You have control over your personal information. Here's what you can do:

Access Your Data

Request a copy of all personal information we hold about you. We'll provide it in a readable format within 30 days.

Correct Information

Update or fix any inaccurate data in your account. Most of this you can do yourself through account settings.

Delete Your Account

Request complete deletion of your account and associated data. Some information may need to be retained for legal compliance.

Export Your Data

Download your budget information and take it elsewhere. We support standard export formats.

Restrict Processing

Ask us to limit how we use certain pieces of your information while keeping your account active.

Withdraw Consent

Change your mind about optional data processing activities at any time through your account preferences.

Data Security Measures

We take security seriously because you're trusting us with sensitive financial information. Here's how we protect it:

  1. All data transmissions use industry-standard TLS encryption
  2. Financial information is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
  3. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
  4. We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing
  5. Two-factor authentication is available for all accounts
  6. Automated monitoring detects and responds to suspicious activity
  7. Regular backups ensure data recovery capability

No system is completely secure, but we continuously invest in security improvements. If we detect a data breach affecting your information, we'll notify you within 72 hours as required by Thai law.

Data Retention

We don't keep your data forever. Here's our retention approach:

  • Active accounts: Data is retained as long as your account remains active
  • Closed accounts: Most data is deleted within 90 days of account closure
  • Financial records: Kept for 7 years to comply with Thai accounting laws
  • Support communications: Retained for 3 years for quality and training purposes
  • Marketing data: Deleted immediately upon unsubscribe request
  • Legal holds: Data subject to legal proceedings is retained until resolution

After retention periods expire, we securely delete or anonymize your information so it can't be traced back to you.

Cookies and Tracking

Like most websites, we use cookies. Some are necessary for the site to function, while others help us understand how people use the platform.

Essential Cookies

These keep you logged in and remember your preferences. You can't opt out of these without breaking core functionality.

Analytics Cookies

We use these to see which features people actually use and where they get stuck. This helps us improve the platform. You can disable these in your account settings.

Managing Cookies

Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies. Keep in mind that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from using certain features.

International Data Transfers

Our primary servers are located in Thailand, but some of our service providers operate globally. When your data is transferred outside Thailand, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place through standard contractual clauses and verified security certifications.

If you're accessing our service from outside Thailand, your information will be transferred to and processed in Thailand where our servers are located.

Children's Privacy

Our service isn't designed for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from minors. If you're a parent and discover your child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email and display a notice on the platform.

The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when the most recent changes took effect. We encourage you to review this policy periodically, though we'll always highlight important updates.

This policy is effective as of February 2025 and applies to all information collected from that date forward. Previous versions are available upon request.

Thailand-Specific Provisions

As a Thailand-based company, we comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This gives you specific rights under Thai law:

  • Right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee
  • Right to request information about data processing activities
  • Right to object to automated decision-making that affects you
  • Right to receive compensation for damages from PDPA violations

If you believe we've violated your rights under Thai data protection law, you can contact the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee or pursue legal remedies through Thai courts.
